What Does a Relocator Actually Do?
Hi, I’m Vivi, and I’m a relocator.
“What exactly do you do?” That’s usually the next question.
So let me explain.
At EnterAthens, there is a legal team. There is accounting support.
There are trusted real estate partners. And then… there’s me. The relocator.
Why a relocator is not a real estate agent
A relocator is not a real estate agent, and that matters more than people think. Because I’m not here to show you the houses I have available.
I’m here to understand how you live. I work with different real estate agents, different networks, different listings.
My role is not to push a property. My role is to listen carefully, sometimes even read between the lines, and help you understand which areas actually fit your lifestyle.
Athens is not one city. It’s many different versions of living.
And choosing the wrong area can affect your entire experience here.
So… not a real estate agent!
Why a relocator is not a lawyer
A relocator is not a lawyer. I’m also not a lawyer. And honestly, that’s a good thing.
Because the role of a lawyer in a relocation is very important.
This is not something you want simplified or handled loosely. That’s why at EnterAthens we have in-house lawyers. Not just external partners you speak to once and disappear.
They are part of the process. They are next to us, and I’m next to them.
There’s a very close collaboration there. Because legal language is… different. More structured. More formal.Sometimes harder to follow if you’re not used to it.
The relocator is the one who connects them, and makes sure everything moves in the right order.
Because when it comes to legal processes, things are not as simple as they seem.
One of the most common questions I get is:
“Can you just send us a list of required documents?”
And the honest answer is.. no, not really. Not responsibly.
Because the documents you need depend entirely on your personal situation. Giving a generic list is easy. Giving the right list takes legal understanding and responsibility.
So no, I’m not the one giving you legal answers.
But, what do i actually do?
EnterAthens is a relocation company. It has in-house teams, partners, freelancers. Depending on the season, more or fewer people are involved.
But I’m the constant.I ’m the person you come back to.
The local. The go-to.
Even if something is not directly part of our services, I will find it.
I will connect the right people. And I will make sure everything moves in a way that works for you.
In a way, I work as if I were in your place. Because that’s really the role.
Not just to manage a process, but to make sure it works in your favor.
You can absolutely relocate on your own.But having someone next to you, someone who understands how the whole process works and is genuinely working for you, changes everything.
It makes the process less stressful.More structured. Done right from the start.
And most importantly, it gives your relocation a much higher chance of actually working out the way you imagined it.
